Not a Pest Control Company
California Pest Control is not a licensed pest control company and does not employ pest control technicians, applicators, or other service personnel. We do not perform pest control services, including but not limited to inspections, treatments, fumigations, exterminations, or wildlife removal. We are a free referral service that connects homeowners, property managers, and businesses in California with independent third-party pest control professionals who may be able to address their specific needs. We do not own, operate, or control any pest control equipment, vehicles, or facilities, and we do not apply pesticides, rodenticides, or any other chemical or non-chemical treatments. Our sole function is to facilitate introductions between consumers seeking pest control services and qualified independent contractors who provide such services.
Independent Contractors
All pest control professionals referred through our service are independent contractors and not employees, agents, or representatives of California Pest Control. These independent contractors operate their own separate businesses, maintain their own licenses and insurance coverage, and are solely responsible for the quality, timing, pricing, and execution of any services they provide. California Pest Control does not supervise, direct, or control the work of these independent contractors in any manner. Each independent contractor is responsible for complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and licensing requirements, including those established by the California Structural Pest Control Board and the California Department of Pesticide Regulation. Any contract for services, warranty, or guarantee is strictly between you and the independent contractor you choose to engage.
No Endorsement or Liability
California Pest Control does not endorse, recommend, or guarantee the services, qualifications, competence, or workmanship of any independent contractor referred through our service. We make no representations or warranties regarding the quality, safety, legality, or appropriateness of any services performed by referred contractors. We do not conduct background checks, verify credentials beyond initial license confirmation, or monitor ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements. California Pest Control expressly disclaims all liability for any damages, losses, injuries, or disputes arising from or related to services performed by, or contracts entered into with, any independent contractor referred through our service. This includes but is not limited to property damage, personal injury, ineffective treatments, pesticide exposure, or any other harm. Your decision to engage any referred contractor is made at your own risk and based on your own judgment.
Verification Responsibility
You bear sole responsibility for verifying the credentials, qualifications, insurance coverage, bonding, and licensing status of any independent contractor before engaging their services. We strongly encourage all homeowners and property managers to request and review proof of current licensing through the California Structural Pest Control Board, proof of liability insurance, proof of workers' compensation insurance, and any other documentation relevant to their specific situation. You should obtain multiple quotes, check references, review online ratings and complaints, and ensure that any contractor you hire is properly authorized to perform the requested work in your jurisdiction. California Pest Control is not responsible for any failure on your part to conduct adequate due diligence or for any consequences resulting from your engagement of an unqualified, unlicensed, or uninsured contractor.

Emergency Situations
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, severe allergic reaction, or other life-threatening situation potentially related to pests, pesticides, or wildlife, call 911 immediately or proceed to the nearest emergency medical facility. Do not attempt to handle dangerous wildlife, aggressive stinging insects, or suspected venomous spiders on your own if doing so poses any risk of personal harm. For urgent but non-emergency pest control situations requiring immediate professional attention, you may contact California Pest Control at (888) 239-7622, and we will attempt to connect you with an available independent contractor in your area. However, we cannot guarantee immediate response times, availability of contractors, or emergency service coverage in all locations. Response times and service availability are determined solely by the independent contractors themselves, and California Pest Control cannot compel or guarantee emergency dispatch services.
